Gladys Roberts
Community Outreach/Program Assistant
Gladys Roberts is our Community Outreach/Program Assistant at the Ruby Pardue Blackburn Adult Day Health Care Center. After graduating from the LPN Program at Wilkes Community College in 1975, she continues to devote her time in the health care field. For 23 years she cared for mothers to be. Since 1998 her experience has been caring for adults and geriatric patients.
Gladys’ home is in the country where she spends time with her 2 children, 2 grandchildren and great granddaughter. Also included in her family is an assortment of pets, 1 cow, 2 turtles, 6 cats, 1 puppy, and 6 birds; 2 of the birds are Quaker Parrots and they talk.
Gladys attends church at New Light Baptist Church #2 on Vannoy Road where she enjoys singing in the choir. Her hobbies include; reading, crossword puzzles, and playing the piano.
